Single, Extended Pentecost Event

Undoubtedly, what occurs on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2) is the initial and primary fulfillment of John’s prophecy, but that fulfillment is such that it is has an echoing or rippling effect extending outward to include the events in the other passages under consideration. So as we might put it as an overall outlook: the events in Acts 2, 8, 10, and 19 together constitute a single once-for-all event-complex that fulfills John’s prophecy.
