Explanations of Dort
...on 3 August 1619 at the South Holland provincial synod of Leiden, Nicolaes Tijckmaekers recanted his Remonstrant views and promised "that I shall present to the congregation the pure truth following God's Word and according to the forms of unity together with the explanations... of the national synod".
