Orthodoxy and Orthopraxis
To believe and love Christ is the telos of the creeds and confessions. Given this, it is clear that the pursuit of doctrinal precision in seventeenth-century Reformed theology was not for the sake of doctrine itself but because orthodoxy is indispensable for orthopraxis.
