Tuckney and Trinitarian Redemption
For Tuckney, our salvation is essentially the work of the Trinity and centers on union with Christ. It is initiated by the Father’s condescending love and eternal decree to elect His people in Christ. This plan of redemption is based on the mediatorial work of Christ, who is fully human and fully divine, and sustained by the Holy Spirit’s work of applying redemptive benefits to each believer.
