Undergirding Resurrection

The walking in newness of life (which implies tangible acts of obedience) requires a prior resurrection. The resurrection actualizes real obedience. This resurrection is clearly that which we obtain in our union with Christ. Hence some definitive sense of resurrection—implying definitive sanctification—must undergird all historical obedience.
