Friends talk to each other (The importance of prayer)
Try to capture with me the fresh perspective, the renewed perspective on prayer. What's taking place there. Think of it: We are on speaking terms with no one less than the creator of the universe. No one less than the creator of heaven and earth. Our fellowship is with the true and living God. Like Abraham, but in a much fuller sense. We are friends of God, and if there is one thing that is true of friends, one thing that marks friendship, it is at friend's talk to each other.
