Calvin and the French Confession

Francois de Morel mentioned in a letter to Calvin that the upcoming synod of the French churches intended to draw up a confession for the Reformed churches. Calvin responded by providing a draft for a confession consisting of 35 articles which was based on the Confession of Paris of 1557. In this form, it became the confession of the Waldenses in Piemont, and of the Italian refugees' congregation in Geneva.
