Faith Embraces the Whole Person

In virtually all of the Reformed writers of the era of orthodoxy, faith is defined as consisting in knowledge, in assent to the truth of the knowledge, and, most importantly, in the faithful apprehension of the truth. Such faith embraces the whole person and is both intellectual and volitional.
