Illumination and Revelation

The communication of this light unto us the Scripture calleth revealing and revelation: Matt. 11:25, “Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes;” that is, given them to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, when they were preached unto them. And “no man knoweth the Father, but he to whom the Son will reveal him,” verse 27.
