Pursuing Autonomy

Pursuing autonomy means pursuing mastery independent of God; as human beings we want to be our own law, our own god. In fact this pursuit is an impossibility, because logic is an aspect of God’s mind. But human beings suppress the truth and tell themselves that logic is impersonal.
