Prejudiced Council
According to Bullinger, the council simply wants to condemn Protestant doctrine as heresy, which will be easy because the plaintiffs and the judges are the same people....The decisions already made at the first meeting make participation impossible, and reaffirm his belief that the council has not been held in the old apostolic tradition.
