Continuity with Calvin
If one wishes to adopt continuity with Calvin as the basic criterion for judging the development of Reformed theology during the century and a half after his death, one must do so over the whole range of theology in a manner that does not arbitrarily isolate one or two doctrines from the whole theological complex.
