As to exegetical endeavors, much debunking has already been done with regard to the ignorance of the Reformed Orthodox regarding their sensitivity to the Bible as a book containing many genres and styles, and the old cliches about proof-texting, the Bible as a manual of systematic theology just there for the blunt systematising thereof, and so on, are dying a slow, painful, but nonetheless decisive death.
