Reading the Heidelberg Catechism
...happy is the church that uses a document such as the Heidelberg Catechism to shape its understanding of God and his people. Indeed, anybody who thinks that Protestant confessionalism is a hard, dry creed needs to read the Heidelberg Catechism. Only the willfully stupid or deluded could possibly dismiss such a document along such lines.
