Heavenly Business on Earth

Our business on earth should be heavenly; we should willingly do on earth what we will one day do in heaven: for example, we should try more and more to see God, that is, to know him (John 17:3), which we will do one day in heaven (Job 19:27; 1 Cor. 13:11); we should promptly perform the will of God, as is done—and we will do one day with the blessed angels—in heaven (Matt. 6:10; Ps. 103:20); we should delight in the spiritual Sabbath-keeping which we will one day complete in heaven (Heb. 4:9–11).
