Corruptions

It is easy to find scholarly sources that affirm both the Hebrew Scriptures and the Christian Greek Scriptures to have been corrupted. They have been. But what does this mean? In scholarly parlance, corruption simply means that, over time, errors have been made in the handwritten copying process. At the least, this is true of all documents that began their existence prior to the printing press and, in reality, prior to 1949, when the photocopying process was invented. Hence, by nature, all ancient documents are “corrupt” to one degree or another.
